Pressure Mounted Pet Gates

Pressure Mounted Pet Gates are gates held in place by exerting outward pressure. There is no drilling, screws or mounting hardware needed, so most pressure gates will leave behind no damaged to your door or wall. Most often the tension is achieved with easy to use, turn-adjustment knobs located on each side of the gate, at the top and bottom (see image to left).

Tension Mounted Pet Gates offer many advantages. They are very easy to install, and relocate to another location in your home. Additionally, since they do not  leave behind any damage to the door or hallway they were being used.

Gates Designed for Stairways

Stairway Pet Gates are great for the top of stairs because they only swing in one direction. These types of pet gates are much safer for use in situations where stairs are involved. For example, if your gate swings toward you as you go up the stairs, you would be forced to back up- down the stairs in order to open the pet gate. With most Stairway Gates, you control the direction your gate opens using an adapter. In most cases, stairway gates can be mounted on angles to allow for mounting to a stud.

Extra Wide Gates

Extra Wide Gates can be used to span wider openings than a basic or standard gate. Some of the gates require extensions to span wider openings and can easily be customized to fit extra wide areas. Most gates with extensions offer them in multiple sizes to give you the best fitting gate possible.

The use of gate extensions will not affect the stability of the gate in any way.
