Hi, everyone.
Since this is my first writing on the Two Bros Blog, I thought I'd let you know that I am Deano, one of the Two Bros crew. I'll be writing on our Blog every so-often.
Thanksgiving time was the big family get-together for our family this year. One of our family members, Mamer, is a huge pet lover. She brought her own Bichon-Frise with her, Georgie, he is a trained and certified service dog. What a cool dog. Has great personality. Reminds us a lot of our own little designer-mutt, Zoey. You'll see pictures of Georgie, Zoey and Murphy, another of our family's pet dogs, all on our picture rotator from time to time.
Once Mamer and Georgie returned home, Mamer sent us an email and told of a sad story about a friend's Bichon who got killed by a car when it bolted an open door from their house. For all of us who own pets, this kind of loss is devastating, truly sad. Makes the point about having at least some rudimentary obedience training for our dogs. Need to at least understand "stay" or "wait" mean. Georgie is fully trained, follows every (proper) command. Zoey and Murphy are mind of their own, and have had no training at all. They are the type that would easily make themselves unknowingly unsafe. Should use a Pet Barrier product on the door; or get them some training.
I think we'll do both.
Everyone have a safe and joyous New Year, and I'll be back to talk to you soon!
Deano
